Frequently  Asked
Questions
Why should I have a make-up artist for my wedding day?

Having your makeup done by a make-up artist is ideal for your wedding day because brides
can be nervous and applying makeup with a shaky hand can be difficult.  Make-up artists also
have cosmetics to last throughout the day.   We apply special highlighting, contouring,  and
know how to bring out your best features. Understanding how to apply cosmetics for
photography is also important because your wedding photos will be looked at for years to
come.

Do I need to do a trial run before my wedding day for makeup?

Brides have enough stress on their wedding day and knowing that your makeup is going to
look great is one less thing to worry about. I highly recommend a trial run. I like brides to be as
stress free as possible during their wedding preparations. At the time of the trial run we try out
colors to make sure everything is how you envision.

What is airbrush makeup?

Airbrush make-up is sprayed onto the face using an airbrush gun and air compressor. This
method allows you to spray small dots of foundation to cover blemishes and any other hyper
pigmentation on the skin.  Only a few drops of foundation are used to cover the entire face.
The biggest advantage to using an airbrush is the longevity of the application.   Airbrush
makeup is popular choice for weddings.

How will you remember what products were used if my trial was
months ago?

I write everything down in detail as well as take pictures so there is so need to worry!

What brand of makeup do you use?

My makeup kit is filled with all different brands such as MAC, Make Up For Ever, Nars, Lorac,
Smashbox, Stila, Urban Decay, etc.  I don't believe in using just one brand.  I use what I have
found works best and do not base it on the popularity of one overall company.  There are
many great cosmetic companies out there.

Will my makeup stay on all day?

I use long-lasting high quality makeup to ensure you look great throughout the day.  The only
thing you should need to re-apply is lipstick or gloss.  I also suggest oil blotting sheets if you
plan on being outside in the heat or if your skin is naturally oily.
